Footage of the arrest of businessman Ergys Agasi has emerged.
This is the moment of Agas's escort entering the Tirana Police Department.
Surrounded by numerous police forces, with batons and handcuffs on his hands and wearing a white t-shirt and shorts, Agasi climbs the stairs of the police station.
Agasi was arrested this Wednesday evening near Plepave Street in Durrës, where he was a passenger in a vehicle driven by former officer Uljan Shpataraku, the latter also declared wanted by the police.
Agasi had been wanted since December 2025, when SPAK issued an arrest warrant against him as part of investigations into the National Information Society Agency (AKSHI) file.
The Special Prosecution Office accuses Agas, along with businessman Ermal Beqiraj, of involvement in a structured criminal group suspected of manipulating AKSHI tenders, while the investigations also include allegations of use of violence and hostage-taking.
Meanwhile, Uljan Shpataraku was declared wanted on August 6 of this year, after he threatened the waiter and the administrator with a gun after an argument in a bar in Dhërmi.
