A few days ago, Ersida Dyrmishi and her husband reported to the Police that the 30-year-old woman was taken hostage by 32-year-old Marjus Musaku for 9 days in a rented apartment in Durrës.

The mother of two claims he forced her to have sex at knifepoint while he was holding her hostage and forced her to live with him.

Musaku declared to the police after the arrest that they are needed and that she had come of her own free will. The young man from Lushnja denied the statements, denying the fact of being held hostage. Musaku said they have a love story.

"I did not hold him hostage. She came with her own wish. We have a love story, we have been together these days", he declared before the police.

Musak's version is also supported by the latter's family members, who are very indignant about the young woman's statements. In a statement for JOQ Albania, Musak's family members state that they knew Ersida after Marjusi had introduced them and they had close ties with her.

They say they feel worried for their son who is being held behind bars for a crime he didn't commit after the 30-year-old willingly went with him after they had been dating for several months.

Also, the family members have published the Telegram messages between Marjusi and Ersida, which proves that they were connected for months.

His family member writes:

"I am writing to you, I am the **** of Marjus Musaku. Now, I'm sorry, why doesn't your page post messages from family members, can you give us an answer?

Marjus has not taken anyone by force, nor has he raped anyone. As a family, we were aware of their relationship for several months. The girl constantly exchanged messages, phone calls and even intimate photos, all of which will be presented in court. When this woman didn't want to meet Marjusi's family? I personally met with Ersida where I went to her hair salon and had my hair done."

Another family member of Marjus Musaku writes:

"She wanted to have a good time together, everything was going well until the plan that her husband was looking for broke. Why don't I react 9 days ago, she had the phone in her hand. It's been 1 week since my sister didn't sleep. We are all very worried as a family. Please help me get the correct side of the story because the SMS also show it. I just want the truth to come out because the boy is doing prison for nothing and the family members are very worried just like her husband was worried when she ran away"
