Rama inaugurates the Murriz tunnel

Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, inaugurated the opening of the Murriz tunnel on Arbri Street, where they were welcomed with songs and drums.

This tunnel will help the residents of Dibra, who can now reach the capital in about 2 hours.

Rama, along with Ballukun and Blendi Klosin, traveled by bus through part of the tunnel as Ballukun explained the completed works.

Balluku said that the tunnel is fully completed with its components.

"Today the 3.8 km long Murriz tunnel opens. It is completely completed with all its components, both structurally and electromechanically, everything is functional. We conducted tests last night until late at night. On the other hand, the Traffic Police force has also taken on the task of monitoring ," said Balluku.

The young people wore traditional folk costumes from the area to celebrate the opening of the tunnel and also Summer Day.

As he greeted those present at the entrance to the tunnel, shouts such as "welcome Skanderbeg of Albania" or "you are the best, you kept your promise" were heard.

But what stood out was the "Blast the evil eye!" patrol.
