They were defrauding foreigners through a "call center", two people

Two Call Center administrators, Olsi Vasku and Admir Behari, have been arrested for deceiving foreign individuals into investing in fictitious stock exchanges.

Police announcement:

DVP Tirana/The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Force for Special Operations and Search, is finalizing the police operation codenamed "Last call".

Another environment adapted for a call center is revealed.

Two citizens who managed this environment (call center), through which they deceived foreign citizens, were arrested to invest in fictitious stock exchanges.

5 laptops and 2 mobile phones, which were used for this criminal activity, were seized.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section of the Tirana Police Department, in cooperation with the Special Force for Special Operations and Investigation, after thorough investigative work, have successfully organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Last call".

As a result of this operation, citizens OV, 35 years old, and AB, 32 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested in flagrante delicto.

The investigation revealed that these citizens were running an unlicensed entity, with undeclared activity to the competent authorities, on Rruga e Barrikadave, which they had adapted as a call center. They, in collaboration with each other, called foreign citizens and, through deception, convinced them to invest in fictitious stock exchanges.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
