Roskovec massacre, the woman who was shot by her ex-son-in-law Refit Buzi also

The death toll from the serious incident in Roskovec has increased, as Bejlere Plaku, who was shot by her ex-son-in-law this morning, has passed away.

In the early hours of Friday, Refit Buzi went to the apartment of his ex-partner, Rozalina Plaku, and opened fire with a shotgun on her family members, killing her father, Kosta Plaku, and seriously injuring her mother, Bejlere Plaku, who died in hospital from serious injuries.

The negotiations between RENEA forces and 35-year-old Refit Buzi ended tragically, after he committed suicide after more than 7 hours of resistance inside his car, bringing the number of victims from the tragic incident in the village of Vidhishte, Roskovec, to three.

35-year-old Refit Buzi, also known as Nertil Buzi, shot himself inside the vehicle in the village of Cerven, where he stopped after killing his ex-father-in-law. He refused to surrender to RENEA, who negotiated for several hours, surrounding the area with snipers and numerous forces.

The serious crime occurred around 6:00 a.m. in the Plaku family's apartment, where the 35-year-old took hostage his 24-year-old ex-fiancée, Rozalina Plaku, by force.

After initial negotiations between the Police and RENEA, the perpetrator released the girl. The 35-year-old himself had declared after the serious crime that he had killed his ex-father-in-law and ex-mother-in-law, after giving their daughter, his ex-fiancée, thousands of pounds, which he had never returned.

The perpetrator's parents also hold the same version.

It is learned that the 35-year-old had been threatening his ex-fiancée, a medical student, for some time. It is suspected that he was carrying out illegal activities outside Albania, as in 2022 it turned out that he was among seven Albanian citizens who were taken hostage for disrupting drug deals in London.

Four years ago, his family was asked to pay 400,000 pounds in compensation for his release. It is not known whether this incident was the reason for his separation from his fiancée Rozalina Plaku, but he was previously accompanied and arrested by the police for these episodes.
