The Supreme Court has rejected Laert Haxhiu's appeal, upholding his life sentence for the "Lushnja Massacre".

The convicts are charged with the criminal offenses of "Murder under qualifying circumstances of one or more persons", "Committing criminal offenses within the framework of a criminal group", "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", and "Disturbing public peace".
