The wife of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, Ajola Xoxa, arrived at Rinas Airport this Monday evening, following the measure issued against her by SPAK.

Xoxa will implement the security measure "house arrest", as he was abroad when SPAK issued the measures for him, Veliaj and a group of businessmen accused of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.

A prison sentence was issued for Veliaj, accused of corruption and concealment of income in 9 cases.

According to SPAK, he has taken bribes from businessmen for granting construction permits or tenders.
