Migena Kodra was murdered by her brother-in-law while she was sleeping in the same bed with her 2-year-old daughter. A serious event that shocked public opinion. After Migena's murder, her brother-in-law committed suicide in the yard of the apartment, after having been previously seen by his parents, specifically by his mother, who woke up from her sleep due to gunshots.

She claimed to the media at the time that she had immediately gone to the room after hearing her granddaughter's cries, but at the same time she also heard another shot the moment her son killed himself.

A scene of horror that, apparently, for that apartment and for that family in Tirana will remain long in the memory. On the other hand, the whole incident remains a mystery, since the murder weapon was found far from the body of Migena's brother-in-law. Migena's husband claimed at the time that he had not been home during the night hours for a year, as he worked as a taxi driver on the third shift.

When asked by the editorial staff of the show "With an Open Heart", he stated that there had been no previous conflict that could have created resentment up to this point. On the other hand, in a close meeting with Migena's family, where the pain and great loss of their daughter, mother of two minor children, was still present, the family members confessed that they had been informed about the event through the media. Although two years have passed since the serious event, Migena's two children are involved in a deep conflict over their whereabouts among the family members.

On the one hand, Migena's father, Kasemi, confesses that he has been fighting legally with his son-in-law for more than a year, as he demands that the children not return to the same apartment where their mother was killed. Apparently, the court has decided that the children will live with their father in the last session.

However, their grandfather has appealed this decision and requests that the children not return to the apartment where their mother was executed, as, according to him, this is a trauma that could accompany them throughout their lives.

"The girl that night, it's strange, she mentions it every hour. That night too, she tells me that her grandfather grabbed my hand but I couldn't grab it because she closed her eyes. Then she tells me that she was moving around the room.

I also doubt that his brother-in-law killed him. A person does not kill himself with two bullets. I will seek the truth until my last breath. There is a twist in the investigation. What reason would his brother-in-law have to kill him? According to the expert report, the first blow was to the chin, how is it possible that he then shot himself in the ribs?

My daughter's husband, his brother and his father were found to have gunpowder traces on their hands. My daughter's ex-mother-in-law helped clean up the crime scene. I'm surprised they still live in that house and are trying to take the children there. My ex-son-in-law sleeps in the bed where my daughter was killed.
