Lorenc Vangjeli: Edi Rama is the cause of the conflict between businessmen in
Vasil Bedinaj and Luan Muça

Journalist Lorenc Vangjeli commented this evening on the clash that occurred on Thursday in Radhimë at the hotel of businessman Vasil Bedinaj.

According to Vasili, the statement by the Vlora police that speaks of a fine of 5 million euros imposed on businessman Bedinaj by businessman Luan Muça leaves room for interpretation, as the conflict between them is over a property issue, which, as he said, should have been resolved by the state.

According to Vangjeli, the main cause of the conflict between businessmen in Vlora is the government. According to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama "came to power with the promise of resolving the property issue, failed to provide a solution, and even worsened it in one direction, as property conflicts have shifted to the coast. In Vlora, only fate avoided an even more serious tragedy."

"It's a matter of property. Two citizens, two businessmen who feed dozens of families and pay taxes, and this state has left them orphans to their fate. In my judgment, one more than the other, has a conflict. How will it be resolved? The state must resolve the conflicts of individuals, specifically the justice system.

Even Edi Rama, who came 13 years ago with the promise of resolving the property issue, failed to provide a solution, and even worsened it in one direction, as property conflicts have shifted to the coast. In Vlora, only fate avoided an even more serious tragedy.

The businessmen, one of whom I know, are beyond logic… the people gave me much more information than the police. The police do not speak in metaphors (regarding the 5 million euro fine). There is a much deeper relationship between them.

"When someone gets the status of a strategic investor, these problems are taken over by the state, which should be the master of ownership issues. I know one of the businessmen. He may have done 1001 things, but he is not a fine-bearer," Vangjeli said on the Now show on Euronews Albania.
