The Ministry of Defense says that 27 fires have been reported in the country, 17 of which have been completely extinguished, 2 are under surveillance and 8 continue to be active.

265 operational forces and 38 firefighting vehicles have been engaged in operations to cope with the situation, while 170 military forces and 3 firefighting vehicles of the Armed Forces have been deployed in support of them. Air Force helicopters have intervened in 4 operations.

The main attention of emergency structures is focused on the regions of Dibër, Lezha, Tirana and Shkodër.

In the Dibër district, operations continue in the Vajkal, Lundre–Madhesh and Mallunxë–Lis areas, with the engagement of ground forces and air support in the Mati areas. According to the authorities, there is no reported danger to inhabited areas in these hotbeds.

Even in Dajt, after the reactivation of a fire, around 60 forces have been engaged, while the situation does not pose a danger to homes.

The most problematic situation is reported in the Lezha region, especially on the Kalivaç–Zimaj–Kashnjet axis. Due to the spread of the fire, residents have been evacuated, while the operation has been reinforced with two Air Force helicopters, 50 military forces and 3 firefighting vehicles, in addition to local structures.

In Mnelë e Vogël, Vau i Dejës, the intensity of the fire has decreased and the risk to residential areas has been averted. The forces on the ground continue to work to neutralize and finally extinguish the fire.

The National Civil Protection Agency (AKMC) continues to continuously monitor the situation throughout the country, in coordination with prefectures, municipalities and other structures of the Civil Protection system.
