After several hours of searching by the residents of the area and his family, a 25-year-old missing since yesterday evening was found drowned in an irrigation channel in Mat.
Since the family members of the young man informed the Mati police at around 11:35 p.m., yesterday evening, that the 25-year-old had gone to the forest to collect mushrooms but had not yet returned home, the police started searching in the Shulbatër village area.
After several hours of searching in cooperation with the residents of the area and his family members, the 25-year-old man was found dead without signs of violence, drowned in an irrigation canal.
According to the police, from the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the young man drowned accidentally. The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues the investigative work for the complete clarification of the circumstances of this event.
