Italian media have identified the 26-year-old Albanian who died on June 7 as a result of an accident. Redon Abazi tried to escape from the police by car. But in one turn he lost control of the car and went off the road. As a result, Abazi died immediately.

The injured remained his friend, a passenger in the car, identified Behar Roshi. The 31-year-old had to serve a sentence of 4 years and 2 months in prison. Italian media therefore write that this may be the cause of the escape that ended in a tragedy.

31-year-old Roshi after the car went off the road tried to escape despite being injured. However he was handcuffed a little later by the authorities. At the time of his arrest, Roshi resisted and is suspected of attacking the carabinieri, causing them significant injuries.

During the court session, Roshi was also informed of the prison sentence of 4 years and 2 months, for old sentences. It is about another resistance to public officials, but also a violation of immigration rules. The Albanian clarified that he did not drive the vehicle, but did not give a reason for the escape.
