The judge of the Court of First Instance in Tirana, Arnisa Këlliçi, has received a letter threatening her life, for her and her family, which prompted her to request special protection from the Supreme Court.
It was the judge herself who informed me about this event, in a letter addressed to the Supreme Judicial Council.
Journalist Anila Hoxha spoke about this issue today in Breaking on Top News.
The journalist has given details about some of the tracks that are being investigated by the State Police.
" Until the late hours of the weekend, the police also examined the security cameras in the hope that they would find a person who wrote the letter threatening the judge by hand. The police have set up emergency protection. In the Court of Tirana, every person who enters is checked. There is a detector that checks, there are two police officers and a civilian employee. So it is not difficult to identify the people who have entered, especially since the corridors have cameras ", said Anila Hoxha.
Regarding the tracks, she said that " I don't believe that it has to do with any concrete case, because the Court of Tirana does not examine strong and well-known cases, it does not examine cases that are life-threatening. At least the judge does not have such a case. The letter will be taken to the State Police for typographical examination, hoping that the author can be identified.
The next step will be to get a chancellor's testimony and the judge will be called back for questions. But there are suspicions that it may not only be due to duty, but also a conflict that occurred in the city's criminal court.
A few days ago, the judge was involved in a joke between her colleagues (this is not the main track), to whom she told them that she had information that one of them had been tapped (as a joke). After the joke, there were harsh reactions between them. The conflict was perceived and after this joke there was a frozen situation between the colleagues".
