"Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center has reacted after the denunciation of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha from the floor of the Assembly that millions of euros will be spent on remodeling the office of director Albana Fico, where, among other things, he said that he had also ordered a double bed.

QSUT clarifies that there is no tender for the furnishing of the offices, saying that this is done with the intention of smearing the institution. According to QSUT, the tender is because the New Hospital of Internal Diseases is in the finalization phase of the investment and, in parallel, of the furniture and medical equipment.

"There is no procurement procedure for the equipment of the QSUT administration offices. The New Hospital of Internal Diseases at QSUT is in the phase of finalizing the investment and, in parallel, of furniture and medical equipment with European standards, for which QSUT has carried out the first procedures.

All equipment, including beds for patient rooms, hospital furniture and the equipment needed to make a functional hospital, have been made in fulfillment of the requirements of the university services of the Hospital of Internal Diseases at QSUT and conform to the established standards.

QSUT reiterates that there is no procedure for furnishing QSUT offices. Any attempt to throw mud on the work of the QSUT staff will not demotivate the work of a team that works every day with dedication and professionalism in the service of citizens", writes QSUT.
