After the publication of several articles mentioning his name in connection with suspected benefits from VAT funds, Altin Mici reacted with a public statement, describing the reports as inaccurate and harmful to his professional image.

In the response distributed to the media, Mici demands that any media outlet that has published or republished these claims immediately take three steps:

To make a public denial, clarifying that the cooperation with RTSH was initiated by the public television itself and that the only compensation provided was in the form of publicity, without any financial benefit.

"My service was offered, but the contract was not finalized and consequently I did not receive any compensation, financial or publicity," Mici emphasizes.

He also adds that any partial use of the documents, which according to him leads to misinterpretations, seriously damages his reputation and therefore requires immediate reflection by the media.

Mic's full statement

Following recent media publications, in which my name was mentioned and documents related to my professional activity were used to argue claims about non-payment of obligations by Radio Television Albania (RTSH), I request that any media that has published or republished this content immediately take the following steps:

To make a public rebuttal, clarifying that:

The cooperation was initiated by RTSH itself.

The compensation provided was only in the form of publicity and in no case did I benefit or attempt to benefit from public funds.

My service was offered, but the contract was not finalized and consequently I did not receive any compensation, financial or publicity.

To correct reports by accurately and completely reflecting the real version of events.

To avoid incorrect interpretations and partial use of documents, as these create wrong perceptions and unfairly damage my professional image and reputation.

In the event of non-respect of my right to fair and balanced information, I will be obliged to pursue legal avenues to protect my image and professional activity.
