Requested a declaration of incompetence for the case, GJKKO rejects
 Plarent Ndreca 

The GJKKO accepted the request of former SP MP  Plarent Ndreca  to be tried in an ordinary trial, while rejecting his request for the declaration of lack of jurisdiction by the GJKKO.

With this decision, Ndreca will be tried alone in the GJKKO, while the other 15 officials of the bid evaluation commission will be tried in the abbreviated procedure.

Plarent Ndreca was indicted by SPAK on October 25 for the criminal offense of "violation of equality in public tenders or auctions".

The procedures for this tender were carried out at a time when the Ministry of Interior was headed by Sandër Lleshaj. 

13 of the defendants are charged with "violating the equality of participants in tenders or public auctions", committed in collaboration, while 3 others are charged with "falsifying documents", committed in collaboration.
