The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici.

Gjici requested the annulment of the Special Appeal decision of the GJKKO issued on June 24, 2024, which upheld the decision of his guilt.

He was sentenced to four years and six months in prison for the scandal of the erotic video in his office in the Municipality of Kukes. In May of this year, Gjici was placed under house arrest due to health problems.
