A 53-year-old man in Korça has fallen prey to a scam after a peer took a large sum of money from him, promising to help him through his connections with several leaders of state institutions.

Following the report made by the 53-year-old, specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes carried out investigative actions and arrested citizen Ilir Zisko, 54 years old, resident of Korça.


This citizen is suspected of having, over a period of 4 months, obtained 6,300 euros from the 53-year-old through fraud.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Fraud".
