Ivzi Hoxha, a resident of the "5 Maji" neighborhood, who threatened to kill the minor son of Prime Minister Edi Rama, was arrested today by the police.
It is learned that Ivzi Hoxha was arrested by the Police three days ago on the charge of "Threats due to duty", after he threatened the life of Prime Minister Rama's son during a TV show.
He said threatening words to the boy, expressing revolt because of the demolition of his apartment in the '5 Majit' area due to the social housing construction project.
During the interrogation, Hoxha told the investigators that he had come out to protest for his rights and said those words. He expressed regret and that he had no intention of threatening the prime minister and his family.
The prosecution had requested for him the security measure "Prison arrest" with a deadline of 15 days, but the Tirana Court assigned him the security measure "House arrest".
