The State Police successfully completed an operation in the Shijak area, at the end of which a grass house was discovered as well as a large arsenal of weapons, hidden in the apartment of two brothers.

As part of the "Wings of crime" operation, police officers conducted a search in a 4-story apartment in Sallmone, where it was discovered that narcotic plants were being cultivated using lamps on the top two floors.

After the checks, 444 cannabis roots were found in the apartment, and all the equipment used for their cultivation was seized.

Also, the police discovered a hidden room in the apartment of the two brothers Fredi Krasniqi and Selman Krasniqi, inside which 10 Kalashnikov assault rifles, 1 rifle, binoculars, bulletproof vests and ammunition were found.

According to the investigation, these weapons are believed to belong to a criminal group.

During the operation, the officers arrested 46-year-old Fredi Krasniqi red-handed, while his brother Selmani, with previous criminal records, was wanted.
