The director of the nursing home, Neritan Bajaziti, speaking to "Balkanweb", said that the room where two disabled people were staying caught fire and that one of the elderly people was sent to the hospital to receive medical help.

" We caught fire in a room where a person with mental problems and a person with disabilities were staying. The room caught fire and the blankets were also burnt. We took him to the hospital for medical help, as he suffered slight burns on his hands and hair ," said the director of the nursing home.

The elderly were left outside the center while firefighters extinguished the flames and took measures to avoid danger.
