The operation for the arrest of two Elbasan police inspectors and three other persons has revealed that the persons did not intend to take only financial sums from the citizens but also material goods.
During the investigations carried out through environmental interceptions and field observations, SPAK and the National Bureau of Investigation discovered that one of the Elbasan police inspectors took a citizen and a slaughtered calf.
It is about inspector Çelnik Toska, who is currently arrested under the security measure "house arrest". In one case, Toska was proven to have received from Zenel Taragjini and his father, Lirian Taragjini, a slaughtered calf.
"Ora News" learns that the amount of meat was taken in exchange for the release of a vehicle that was blocked by the police of Elbasan.
Although the court has set the security measure of "house arrest" for Çelnik Toska, the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office has already appealed this decision, requesting the setting of "prison arrest" for the Elbasan police officer.
The Appeal Request has been filed by SPAK also for inspector Sefer Shuka, who is accused of the criminal offense of "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions".
In the 54-page decision, dozens of telephone conversations between inspectors and citizens about the release of blocked cars are exposed, where they sometimes mention the choice of the problem through the prosecutors of Elbasan.
Police officers took citizens from 500,000 old lek to 1 million, in exchange for releasing the cars.
