Jamarbër Malltez's request to revoke the "house arrest" security measure was not accepted in this Wednesday's session either.

The latter was isolated in his apartment in November 2023 by decision of Special Appeal Judge Ilirjana Olldashi, who overturned the first instance decision given by Irena Gjoka for the measure of "prison arrest".

Malltezi and Berisha were investigated by the Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office for the privatization of the former "Partizani" sports club, where several buildings have been built today.

SPAK accuses Jamarbër Malltez of committing the criminal offenses of active corruption and money laundering, while Berisha is accused of passive corruption.

On Thursday, March 6, the Special Court is expected to rule on SPAK's request to proceed with this case for trial.

Three other people have also been charged in this case, including Fatmir Bektashi, Andia Pustina and Xhimi Begeja.
