Police have arrested 30-year-old Enedjon Kaçi in connection with the assassination attempt 8 days ago in Kamza.

The young man is accused of "failure to report a crime".

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 5 seized and referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the wanted citizen EK, 30 years old, for the criminal offense of "Failure to report a crime, in connection with the incident that occurred in Kamëz, on 22.02.2025", the Police announced.

Kaçi is believed to have been the "target" of the assassination, while the two perpetrators of the incident are still being sought by the Police. They are Fabio. K and Dejvi. M.

They were driving a BMW, while the 30-year-old and other people who have not yet been identified were driving a Land Rover.

The two 24-year-olds wanted are reported to have been previously arrested and charged with drug distribution, while the target of the assassination attempt does not face criminal charges.

So far, the police suspect that there may have been a conflict between young people over narcotics, which may have subsequently influenced the use of a firearm.
