The Special Court has imposed a "house arrest" security measure in absentia for lawyer Bardhi Koçi.

Koçi is suspected of "exercising illegal influence."

It is also learned that at the request of SPAK, several other measures have been approved, as well as several inspection permits.

A total of 4 home and personal searches were conducted, while the mobile phone of the head of the laboratory at the scientific police was seized.

The SPAK operation comes within the framework of an investigation into interference in a file that was under investigation by the Tirana prosecution and was being reviewed by the court.

At the time of the commission of the criminal offense, the lawyer was on duty at the Albanian Supreme Audit Office. There are suspicions that he exerted illegal influence on other police and justice officials to alleviate the criminal position of a person who was in conflict with the law.
