Spring is officially here! Meteorologist Lajda Porja makes the forecast for
Officially in spring!

This Saturday morning, meteorologist Lajda Porja from "MeteoAlb" was invited to the "Aldo Morning Show." Like every beginning of the month, she made the weather forecast for March.

According to her, we are officially in spring, so warm and sunny days await us. The clouds that have accompanied us these last days of February will leave, giving way to sunny days. Temperatures will reach 18-19 degrees Celsius.

"The nuances of spring are felt, but we cannot say that the entire month of March will be sunny. We have seen that from time to time March has also brought episodes of precipitation. However, today and tomorrow, although clouds are present, there will be light precipitation, mainly in mountainous areas. Rains that, although necessary, do not really do us any good because they are very few. In fact, this cloud system is gradually leaving, although clouds and light precipitation will remain present tomorrow. Starting Monday, we can expect sunny days and high temperatures typical of spring. Currently, temperatures are at 15-16 degrees Celsius, so we continue to be in the nuances of February even though we have officially entered spring. Starting Monday and continuing, we should have temperatures of 18 or 19 degrees."

However, according to meteorologists, March 8th and the last 10 days of the month will have episodes of light rainfall.

"While we are expected to have a rainfall episode on March 8, it will be light, like the rainfall we have had in recent days. Then we will have sunny days. We will have more sunny days and fewer rainy days, which have been shifted to the last 10 days of March."

For all farmers and livestock keepers, Lajda Porja said that in addition to the rains at the end of the month, which will be present, but in small quantities, there will also be showers and hail. Therefore, farmers should take measures for their crops.

"What is problematic is that at least until the 15th-16th we will have high temperatures, flowers bloom and then it is the end of March which will upset some things for us. Since rain showers and hail are not excluded. However, March in its entirety will have precipitation, but the monthly quotas will not be met. March is climatically very humid, so there should be precipitation, but it will not be in the monthly amount. There will be areas that will be below the norm and drier."

According to the meteorologist, this year is generally expected to have higher temperatures than 2024, which was considered the hottest year in history. Comparing the temperatures of the first two months of the year with those of last year, Lajda Porja said that they have been higher than normal.
