Five months after the mysterious disappearance of 29-year-old Ulvi Skana, the police and the prosecutor's office are still unable to determine whether it was a kidnapping or a deliberate departure from the apartment.

Despite the fact that the event has been referred to the prosecutor's office as leaving the apartment, the criminal police are continuing to collect evidence and interrogate people with knowledge about the event, including Skana's family members.

Sources for Ora News from the investigation group said that recently, the Prosecutor's Office and the police have managed to track the young man's phone in several areas of Tirana.

Ulvi Skana's mobile device, according to the investigators, has been logged several times, which indicates its use in areas near the capital.

Through this logging, the investigators have provided several addresses where they have conducted flash checks, but have not managed to provide any information about the 29-year-old.

According to the police, his last trace was observed in the Bathora area. In the report made for the removal of their son from the apartment, the family members have shown several phone numbers which are suspected to have been the last contacts of the 29-year-old.

The people who use these phone numbers were interrogated by the police, but their testimonies did not help the investigators in finding the young man residing in Bathore.

Investigators do not rule out the possibility that Skana has left the country, however, and this track has not yet been tested by the blue uniforms, as the passport has not moved from his residence. Meanwhile, Ulvi Skana's parents believe that their son has been kidnapped.

The young Ulvi Skana is known as the friend of Can Karriqi, a person killed in December 2021 in the Kamza area. This fact has also been affirmed in their testimony by the family members as they showed that after Cani's murder, Ulvi Skana was kept in police custody for 12 hours. While Can Karriqi was a friend of Ervis Martinaj.
