Young Albanian man caught distributing cocaine in Ragusa, Italy

Italian Carabinieri in Ragusa arrested a 28-year-old Albanian man on suspicion of drug trafficking and possession.

The suspect's unusual movements with his vehicle raised suspicions among patrol officers. The vehicle had been parked for a long time on a road with little traffic, near the historic center of the Iblei region.

The Carabinieri chose not to approach, but to observe him from a distance, where they noticed that the young man was selling drugs in doses. They immediately intervened after testing him and during the search discovered 15 doses of cocaine ready for sale, weighing 10 grams, along with 7 other packaged doses of cocaine.

230 euros in banknotes were found in the young man's pocket, apparently the proceeds from recent drug sales. This money was seized, Italian media reports.

The Albanian was handcuffed and taken to prison, pending further investigation.
