Following the explosive attack, which killed 58-year-old Isuf Jaçaj, police have conducted searches in several businesses and homes in Saranda.

Kristo Qirici, along with his partner in crime, Eldian Allushi, are internationally wanted by SPAK for drug trafficking, and are suspected of hiding in Dubai.

The group in question is suspected of being behind the execution of Aleksander Sadika, the latter's friends, as well as the disappearance of Leonard Theodhor, known as Koçolja, and Fatmir Sulovari.
