New details have emerged from the investigations related to the assassination attempt in the center of Milot, where 28-year-old Klisman Preçi was killed and Ylli Brahimi was injured. The investigative team has reconstructed the dynamics of the event. News24 learns that investigators have concluded that 4 hitmen participated in the assassination.
Two had the role of the shooter, while a third killer waited with a burning car to realize the immediate departure of the two perpetrators who fired at Klisman Preçi and Ylli Brahim. Then a fourth perpetrator waited for the three people to leave in another car after they burned the car he used in the assassination attempt in the village of Gramëz in Krujë.
Klisman Preçi and Ylli Brahimi were driving an armored vehicle, but the investigative group has concluded that the 103 bullets used by the perpetrators were not blind-piercing and did not penetrate the car. The perpetrators waited until the armored vehicle stopped at the entrance of the building and waited until the door of the vehicle was opened and opened fire approaching and inside the vehicle. 27-year-old Preçi, who was shot first, got out of the car and was hit by the barrage of bullets, which also caused his death.
At that moment, Ylli Brahimi also opened the door and tried to get out of the vehicle in which he was a passenger, but in the face of non-stop shooting that lasted for nearly 3 minutes, he entered the car again to protect himself from the bullets.
In the center of Milot, where the assassination took place, there are no security cameras, nor were the cameras near the apartment of the victims of the assassination working. But the investigative team has seized several other cameras on city roads and highways that show the killers' vehicle driving away.
In order to track down the perpetrators, the investigation group is also carrying out interceptions and the examination of the burned car of the perpetrators, which was found in the village of Gramëz.
