Arben Mërkuri Ismaili was killed on Wednesday evening after the assassinations inside his shop. The 48-year-old was executed by an as yet unidentified person who shot at him with a machine gun and then left the scene.

The first images from the scene were published in the media and the 48-year-old's minor son immediately went there. In the picture he appears as he runs to see the place where his father was killed but relatives and friends have removed him.
