A person considered dangerous to the country's security for acts of terrorism was banned this afternoon in Rinas from entering the Republic of Albania.
Top Channel learns that the person in question is religious preacher Imran Hosein. He had traveled from South America, Trinidad, to Albania for a religious agenda, but security authorities had information against him related to acts of terrorism and for this reason the border police did not allow him to enter Albania.
He is currently being held in Rinas until his return from the place where he left is finalized.
Hosein is an Islamic scholar and preacher from Trinidad & Tobago, known for his commentary on Islamic eschatology (end times signs) and modern world affairs. He is an author and international lecturer on Islamic economics, global politics, and the interpretation of contemporary events in the light of the Quran.
Among the main topics he speaks about are related to Israel. Hosein argues that Israel is not just a political state, but part of a historical and prophetic process that is related to the end of the world in Islamic terminology.
On the other hand, some Islamic scholars and institutions have criticized him for his controversial interpretation of hadiths and unusual stances on certain topics.
