New details have emerged from the investigations into the assassination attempt a day earlier in Greece, where 47-year-old Irakli Davella was killed and 46-year-old Edi Lulo was injured.

According to Greek police sources, the target of the assassination was Edi Lulo.

After communication with the Albanian authorities, it has been confirmed that the identity of Edi Lulo has been changed. The Greek police have secured the true identity of the Albanian, who is called Edmond Hysa and is convicted in Greece for the 2011 incident, where several employees of the Athens Bar Association were held hostage and 405,000 euros were robbed at gunpoint.

Along with this incident, he was also accused of other robberies, such as a case of a medical clinic in Pagrati, Athens, where equipment worth 110,000 euros was robbed. He was convicted by the Greek justice system. After serving his prison sentence, it is learned that he was repatriated to Albania.

He had recently been living in Dubai and arrived in Greece on December 9th under the identity of Edi Lulo. Under this identity, he is also registered in Albania, where he is also the owner of a business in Durrës.

Sources indicate that the Greek police have collected some data that could lead to the identification of the perpetrators. From communication with the Albanian police, it has been learned that Edi Lulo is considered an important character in Albania and therefore information is being collected about his conflicts but also about the reason for his arrival in Greece.

It is learned that before the incident, Edi Lulo and Irakli Davella were drinking coffee with two other people. One was led away from the table, while the incident occurred when Lulo, Davella and the third person were walking to their vehicles.

As soon as the shooting began, the third person fled and is still being sought by police to provide testimony.
