New details have been revealed from the arrest of Dorian Keqi, on July 26, 2022, the person suspected of being one of the perpetrators of the paid murder of Saimir Jaku and the wounding of Gjergj Prenga, an event that happened in 2016.
According to Ora News, at the time of the arrest in the car, the bad guy was with Ervin Bami, the nephew of Durim Bami from Nikla, filed by the police for several criminal events and a person who escaped several mafia assassinations.
There was also a third person in the car, E. Sanaj. The three young men were traveling in a car, which was driven by Dorian Keqi, when they were stopped by a police checkpoint set up by the Lezha Directorate.
They told the police officers that they were in a nightclub in the Shengjin area and were returning home to the Kruja area.
But because Dorian Keqi was drunk, he was taken to the police and prosecuted for "Driving while drunk".
The bad guy has his fingerprints fixed on a white paper.
These traces were taken for examination to the scientific police laboratory in Tirana, where after comparison it was found that they matched two traces fixed on a gasoline can and a match found not far from the place where the car was burned, used by the perpetrators in the murder of the former director of OST for the north, Saimir Jaku, and the wounding of Gjergj Prenga.
During the interrogation, Keqi asked the investigators to let him go, as he has nothing to do with the crime and had never in his life been in the area where the matchbox and the gasoline can were found.
He said that all the time he worked as a manual worker, making walls and mortar.
Today Keqi appeared before the court of Lezha, which accepted the security measure of "imprisonment" for Keqi, for the charge of "Murder in qualifying circumstances" to the detriment of the citizen Saimir Jaku, "Deliberate serious injury" to the detriment of Gjergj Hostages and "Possessing firearms without permission".
