Two Vlora police officers have been suspended from their duties by the Police Supervision Agency. 

More specifically, inspector I. LL., with service corps duty in the Urban and Interurban Traffic Sector in DVP Vlorë and inspector RY, with service corps duty in the Urban and Interurban Traffic Sector in DVP Vlorë, were suspended from duty.

"From the investigations of criminal proceedings No. 824 of 2022, of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Vlora, it has been documented with legal evidence that in some cases police officers have consumed elements of the criminal offense "Misuse of duty" carried out in collaboration, favoring citizens in violation of the law in exchange for monetary benefit." says the announcement of the AMP.

They are accused of the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".
