Regarding this situation, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, says that a stronger control is needed throughout the territory of the country to bring to justice persons who possess firearms and those with criminal tendencies in the field of crimes, trafficking or distribution of substances. narcotics.

Through a reaction on social networks, Balla states that he expects from the State Police an effective plan of measures and detailed control in the territory, using police intelligence and cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.

"We need an even stronger control throughout the country, to identify and bring before the law persons who possess firearms, persons wanted, persons with criminal tendencies in the field of crimes against persons, property and trafficking or distribution of substances narcotics and to increase vigilance in the prevention of gender-based crimes.

I expect from the State Police an effective plan of measures and detailed control in the territory, using police intelligence and cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.

This new plan of measures will have concrete tasks for the Operational Force, the National Security Force, the Eagles, the General Patrols and the Traffic Police, with the aim of preventing criminal events, catching and bringing to justice those responsible.

The results achieved throughout the year 2023 in terms of order and security, the fight against crime in general and organized crime in particular must be improved even further", writes Balla.
