Wanted in Spain for attempted murder, 22-year-old arrested in Shëngjin

22-year-old Orgito Paloka, wanted by Spanish authorities for attempted murder, has been arrested in Shëngjin. According to the Police, the young man was hiding in Lezha and had been on the run since May 18 of this year.

" The services of the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in continuation of the work to locate and capture wanted citizens, have provided information that a citizen on international wanted list was hiding in Lezha. Based on the information exchanged in real time with Spanish partners, through the ENFAST network, the coded operation "Fast" was organized and finalized, as a result of which the citizen: -OP, 22 years old, born in Lezha, was captured in Shëngjin and arrested with the aim of extradition to Spain.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Madrid, after the Juzgado Instruccion 2 Court of Ibiza, Spain, on 18.05.2026, issued an arrest warrant for him, for the criminal offense of "Murder", remaining in the attempted stage. "Procedures for the extradition of citizen OP to Spain are ongoing ," the official announcement states, along with footage of the operation.
