The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has seized the assets of two brothers placed under investigation for the opening of massage centers, where exploitation of prostitution was practiced.

The two brothers with the initials  Mario Roshi , and Andi Roshi , were arrested in September 2020 for the criminal offense of " Owning premises for exploitation of prostitution ".

It is suspected that as administrators of massage centers, after recruiting women for employment as masseuses, they forced them to perform sexual services for payment.

"From the investigations, it was found that the citizen MR and his family members have sums of money opened in the second level banks, in their name and that of his family members, these sums which may be derived from his criminal activity", announced police.

The investigation showed that the citizen with the initials MR, in cooperation with his brother, committed the criminal offense of "Cleaning the products of a criminal offense or criminal activity" carried out in cooperation, and it is suspected that his father and wife were also involved in this scheme.

"There is a reasonable suspicion that the citizen MR, as well as his family members, have invested the money suspected to have been obtained from the exercise of the illegal activity of maintaining premises for exploitation of prostitution, for which it is proven that the citizen MR has been convicted, in the purchase of movable and immovable assets, as a form of cleaning the proceeds of the criminal offense", informs the Prosecutor's Office.

For these reasons, based on Article 274 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Prosecutor's Office requests the seizure of the following assets:

- " Unit "  type property , with an area of ​​34 m2, no. 2/211+8-57/1, ZK 8250;

- " Apartment " property with an area of ​​106.4 m2, str. "Hoxha Tahsin";

- Property of the " Post Parking " type with an area of ​​41.2 m2, Tirana;

– " Benz 250 D " vehicle;

– " Volkswagen " vehicle;

– " Skoda Octava " vehicle;

– " AUDI A8 " vehicle;

– " Smart " vehicle; AND

- Establishing the property insurance measure "Preventive sequestration" against the bank accounts of MR, KR, KR and AR citizens
