Anti-cannabis mega-operation in Shkodër, more than 6 thousand narcotic

The police of Shkodra launched an anti-cannabis operation this Wednesday, where they destroyed 6201 seedlings of narcotic plants.

The police informs that they have identified and arrested the suspected perpetrator of the cultivation of 835 of these seedlings in Mount Shoshi.

The citizen ML, 29 years old, resident in the village of Hot i Ri, ended up in handcuffs.

4,902 cannabis seedlings were found during controls in the territory of the administrative units of Shosh, Shale, Pult and Postribe.

In the territory of the Temal administrative unit, Vau i Dejës, 244 cannabis seedlings were found, while in the territory of the Gjegjan administrative unit, Pukë, 220 cannabis seedlings were found.

The police informs that the work is continuing to identify, capture and prosecute the perpetrators of the cultivation of these cannabis plants.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
