This is what the Greek newspaper "Kathimerini" writes in one of its articles, as it talks about 700 thousand Greeks who spent their holidays throughout 2024 in our country.

Once an unknown land, today Albania has become a real tourist attraction for our southern neighbors.

The hospitality, the beautiful nature, the wonderful beaches of the Adriatic and Ionian Sea are also the reason that made them turn their eyes to the Albanian coast.

Mykonos, one of the most visited Greek islands, was unaffordable for them, but they say they found its counterpart in Saranda, where they were amazed as they saw instead of a village a city overcrowded with Italian tourists, with clean beaches and crystal clear waters and very affordable prices.

Himara and Gjirokastra are another destination that has made them wonder.
