New details are revealed about the 'hell' apartment where the 52-year-old arrested today in Tirana kept his wife and minor children trapped. According to evidence, he suffered from mental health disorders.

The family's neighbor told journalist Anila Hoxha that Xerxhi Laçi suffered from mental health disorders and did not let family members go out. She added that they supported their neighbors and relatives with food.

In cooperation with the Anti-Terror Directorate, Police Station number four in Tirana arrested the 52-year-old man, whose apartment was also found with ammunition. During the search in the yard, 700 combat cartridges and automatic combs were found.

Xerxh (Gjergj) Laçi, previously convicted for carrying weapons without a permit, has been locked up for 6 years, systematically abusing and threatening his wife with cold weapons.
