Strong wind "throws" North Macedonian parachutist in Pogradec

The Border Police in Pogradec came to the aid of a Macedonian athlete who was paragliding.

The commander of St. Naum in North Macedonia had raised the alarm about the parachutist who had been carried away by strong winds and consequently diverted his flight, falling in the village of Alarup.

Officers immediately went to the area and were able to locate him. He was taken to the hospital and is in good health.

The VP paratrooper was then escorted to the Tushemisht border crossing to cross into North Macedonia.
