A young man has been arrested and three others are wanted in Kruja.

The blue uniforms indicate that citizen Mehmet Sallaku has been arrested, while Saba Sallaku, Andon Sallaku and Ali Sallaku, all three residents of the village of Shkrete i Krujë, are wanted.

Thus, 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 21 offensive combat grenades, 17 defensive combat grenades, 40 unifying grenade igniters and 5.2 kg of suspected narcotic cannabis were seized.

The police operation coded "Red Mountain" is being finalized by the Krujë Police Station and the Special Operational Force of the DVP Tirana.

Also, narcotic plants that were found cultivated near the residence of the arrested citizen, in the village of Shkret, are destroyed.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these four citizens are also the authors of the cultivation of 320 narcotic plants found earlier.

The services of the Krujë Police Station, following the work to guarantee order and security, the identification and suppression of criminal activities, the red-handed capture of citizens who commit criminal offenses, the controls exercised to prevent the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants and cases of illegal possession of weapons, have intensified controls throughout the territory and, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, have finalized the coded police operation "Red Mountain".

As a result of this operation, the citizen MS, resident in the village of Shkret, was arrested. Citizens SS, 22 years old, AS, 20 years old and AS, 41 years old, all three residents of Shkretë village, were also declared wanted.

These citizens cultivated narcotic plants in the village of Shkretë, near the residence of the citizen MS. During the search in this residence, the Police services found and seized as material evidence 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 21 offensive combat grenades, 17 defensive combat grenades, 40 unifying grenade launchers and 5.2 kg of suspected cannabis narcotics.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens are the authors of the cultivation of 320 narcotic plants, found and destroyed previously by the Police.

The work continues for the capture of the 3 wanted citizens.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
