Elbasan is affected by bad weather, unusual hail storm in Gramsh

Bad weather has affected several areas of the Elbasan region over the weekend, bringing significant drops in temperatures, heavy rainfall, hail, and strong winds.

According to preliminary data, during last night and the early hours of Saturday, strong local storms accompanied by unusual hail were recorded in several mountainous areas, especially in the municipality of Gramsh.

The phenomenon has also been observed in several mountain villages in the Librazhd and Prrenjas municipalities, where hailstorms have been heavy but of short duration.

So far, there have been no official reports of material or agricultural damage caused by the bad weather, while local authorities are monitoring the situation carefully in case the weather conditions worsen further.
