A neighbor of Alma Qevan, the 44-year-old who was killed this afternoon by her brother-in-law, Tefik Tashi, 58 years old in the village of Kusarth in Elbasan, has indicated that the reason for their fight was because of cattle.

In a statement to the media, the elderly woman indicated that she did not know if there had been previous conflicts between them. 

"They took him home. I don't know how they lived in the house, because they have two houses. Yes, we have had no communication at all, not even good morning, nothing. We have not heard of conflicts, because we are far away. We neither heard nor saw anything ," said the neighbor.

Meanwhile, the elderly neighbor said that she had heard that someone was fighting, she thought that the author of the murder, Tefik Tashi, was busy with his sister-in-law Alma Qevani, because of the cattle.

"He shouted, insulted her with dirty words. I thought they were fighting over cattle," she said.
