A serious domestic crime occurred this evening in "Kodra e Priftit" in Tirana.
Police report that a 74-year-old father stabbed and killed his 37-year-old son.
The shocking event took place in the apartment on "Ilia Shyti" street, under circumstances that are still unclear.
Police Announcement:
On 01.02.2025, at around 18:50, at Kodra e Priftit, on "Ilia Shyti" street, in the apartment, citizen H. Gj., around 74 years old, hit his son citizen A. Gj., 37 years old, with a cutting tool, who consequently lost his life in the hospital.
Immediately after receiving notification of the incident, the Police services escorted the perpetrator to the Police Station for further action.
The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
