The water has receded, but the consequences of the floods remain in Durrës.
The municipality is taking stock of the damage from the floods caused by Wednesday's heavy rainfall in several areas of the coastal city.
The municipality's working groups have continued to record damage to homes.
On Friday alone, 173 houses were verified, while in two working days, on January 30 and 31, the total number of verified homes reached 273.
The identification process is continuing today, as authorities work to assess the extent of the damage and take the necessary steps to support affected families.
Meanwhile, during the night, emergency teams used pumps to pull water from the yards, basements, and first floors of flooded apartments.
Efforts to normalize the situation are expected to continue in the coming days.
