Police have launched an investigation into five organizers of the opposition protest yesterday in front of the Tirana municipality building.

According to the police, the opposition held an illegal protest, blocking the road, obstructing the free movement of citizens, and disrupting public order and peace.

The 5 protest leaders prosecuted are Adriana Kalaja, Tedi Blushi, Belind Këlliçi, Klevis Balliu and Adriana Tolka.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at Police Station No. 1 proceeded to release citizens AT, AK, KB, B. K and TB, after yesterday in front of the Tirana Municipality building, in collaboration with other yet unidentified persons, they held an illegal protest, blocking the road, preventing the free movement of citizens, as well as disrupting public order and peace.', the police announced.
