From Greece to France and from there to Albania, Xhemal Loka had arrived in Sukth of Durrës on December 27, 2023, or a week before the fatal end of his wife.

The father of four children, three boys and a girl, Loka says in the police file that the night before the Bedrija incident, he was fine and had no worries, and even had a good time celebrating the New Year.

He points out that his wife was stressed recently:

"My wife has had stress and anxiety in relation to recent times. She may have committed this action as a result of the fact that about a year ago unidentified persons opened an address on "Tik Tok" in her name" .

Loka has also testified that perhaps her wife had warned her of death, when she said that for a long time Bedria had expressed the idea that she could not cope with the photo that had been published on the "TikTok" network.

The man also told how he found the dead woman:

"...I went in the morning and saw Bedrie lying on the floor in the living room, right in the middle of the house.

With my brother's car, we transported him to the emergency room of Durrës Hospital.

There they told us that he consumed phototoxin. Then they sent him by ambulance to QSUT for more specialized treatment. But he died."

The version that Xhemal Loka gives about the death of his wife is different from the one presented by the police.

After announcing that the "husband of the 41-year-old woman who died 4 days ago, as a result of phototoxin consumption" was arrested, the local police in Durrës added:

"From the in-depth investigations, it turned out that 45-year-old Xhemal Loka has psychologically abused his wife continuously.

When the 45-year-old returned from Greece, he threatened to kill his wife with a knife, in the presence of one of the children.

The videos with these footage have been seized by the investigative team.

In video footage, the suspect can be seen hitting Bedrien with hard objects, accompanying the violent act with verbal violence.

In addition, in the footage, there is footage of Loka stabbing his wife.

The disturbing images, in the deposition of the suspect, are considered as a normal part of the couple's life, influenced by the insults towards her on the social network, but also the distance after working in Greece.

The suspect faces a preliminary charge of Causing suicide, as well as possession of a weapon without a permit, but he insists that his wife's death came from the stress he had after posting images and insults to her on TikTok.

Bedrie Loka, mother of four children died on January 3, 2024 in the QSUT hospital.

In the deceased's apartment, the police found a plastic bottle of water and several capsules with a cylindrical tube, phototoxin, which she allegedly consumed to kill herself.

Earlier, the Local Directorate of the Durrës Police said that on January 2, 2024 at 16:30, 41-year-old Bedrie Loka, who was suspected of having consumed the poisonous substance photoxine, even though she had received medical help, could not live.

Since December 2022, Bedrie Loka had reported that a fake address with her name had been opened on social networks.

Regarding the report made in December 2022, the Police say that they carried out the actions and took the file with the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, which, according to her, continues the investigation into the case (!)

In the meantime, the police ensure that they are "continuing intensive investigations to identify and bring to the fore the legal responsibility of the citizens who have misused the data of the citizen Bedrie Loka"./noa
