The Director of Urban Planning of the Municipality of Tirana appears in SPAK

Today, the special prosecutors summoned the director of the Municipality of Tirana, Frida Pashako, to SPAK. The latter currently holds the position of Head of Territorial Development in the country's largest municipality, in the capital.

Specifically, it is not known whether Pashako was summoned as a person in the know for an investigation launched by the Special Prosecutor's Office, or whether she is accused of being involved.

The Department headed by Frida Pashako, the Directorate of Control and Development of the Territory in the Municipality of Tirana, was involved four years ago in the accusations of the Democratic Party, for the diversion of the Lana River during the Great Ring Road development project.

It is not known if this is the reason for the call to SPAK of the director of the Municipality, but the DP led by Lulzim Basha at that time, accused that the urban plan had been changed and therefore the Lana river had been diverted, in favor of the constructions that the businessman Edmond Bego had made on the side of the Great Ring, writes newsbomb.

Director Frida Pashako reacted after the statements four years ago and expressed her conviction that the General Local Plan of the city of Tirana, approved in 2017, had not changed.

" The Local General Plan, which we currently have in force, was approved in 2017 by the National Council of the Territory. Both the drafting of the PPV and its amendment require a very long, inter-institutional process and require approvals at different levels. Currently, we have no initiative to change the General Local Plan of Tirana ", declared Pashako.
